I am definately on the same page with Jeff on the importance of MJ McFarland progressing
/developing quickly at TE--primarily in blocking...
DJ Grant showed flashes early in the season, but faded into oblivion as the season progressed--not sure if that was because we had big-time success in the run game against the likes of TT's terrible run D OR, he just was not consistent in the blocking schemes?? Here's hoping he can have a healthy season and be a viable option as well...
I have less confidence in this player grouping than ANY, including QB--actually, the
latter one is even a distant 2nd in my book...
Hopefully Durham Smythe sees this opportunity today--you have to really like RS-J's
tremendous attitude and abilities down-the-line, whether he ends up @ TE or Harsin gets
to keep him in a more versatile offensive role--what an athlete!!
When Grant came in there were high hopes of stardom. I believe he will be a tremendous asset if he can stay healthy

Duh, what is a RS-Fr?
I know what it is. It is the product of mature player management that allows young men to grow stronger during their freshman year and leads to several bcs bowl games and defeats of OU.
We have 4 of them on the OL along with finally a needed infusion of a community college player. Our OL line woes are a thing of the pass. "Thunder down the middle"- Kern Tipps
