Spring Game Attendance

How many folks do y'all think will be in attendance? Any ideas as to the avg. during Mack's tenure?
Just wondering due to Vonn Bell's comments leading me to hoping he's got a packed house, but doubting that'll be even close to the case. Living in Birmingham has me jealous of Alabama's ability to sell out the spring game in minutes...

Nebraska does it too. However we're talking about Nebraska and Bama, so the "they have nothing else to do" card will be played. I know I'll be there, just like every other TRUE fan.

The announced crowd size or the real number of people there?
Announced = 30,000
Real number of attendees = 7,500

Newy25, want to take a bet with 5 to 1 odds that the actual # is would at least
double your 7500 estimate??? Now, I fully realize that our last two seasons pail
in terms of W-L under Mack's watch, but "come-on, man"...with all the "buzz" over
our possible Top 5 D in the nation and with a stronger/much improved OL &
Ash coming around, as well as a newly energized Mike Davis, what will be the
hold-back (other than weather) for a good turn-out???
A "good turn-out" in my eyes would be the 30,000 you mentioned, so you
get that one right...

I have been to every spring game since 1997. We have never had 30,000 people go to a game. Not even close.
We may have announced that but we have never actually had that many people there.

This is an annual get together for my brother and me. See the baseball game Saturday and orange-white game Sunday.

We live North of Dallas and we are you going to bring some friends of ours from Clemson to the spring game. Where would you recommend we take them Saturday night after dinner to show them Austin and Texas since this is their first visit? We are all between 50 and 55, and not major partiers. We would just like to have a few drinks and show them our state. We are going to County Line for dinner, which is one of my favorite places to eat.

a better question would be which number is higher, the number of actual fans in attendance or the number who watch the game on the LHN?

The Oasis has some good drinks I hear, but the food is terrible.

It would be fun to see a map showing where the LHN is available here in Texas. I believe it is available in Mattoon IL. and the greater Cut and Shoot area of Texas.

I've been to the last 5 and about 2-3 others. Newy is sadly spot on. They'll announce a ridiculous number but it will be about 10k.
