I also think the issue that has been snowballing in recent offseason camps is the uncontrolled reporting of injuries that occur, or the speculation. It conflicts with the policy of player privacy rights. Mack alluded to that last year and looks like they have come to a conclusion on that situation. Personally, I don't think it is Mack's preference.

You're wrong. There are other schools who don't hide behind that rule. If a player is injured in a game does that also violate the privacy rights of the player? Should we close games? I think it annoys Mack, but I don't think it violates any policies.
I'm of the opinion that Texas is a big stage....

And you're on a big soapbox. The reporting of in-game injuries are is pretty much controlled. Sometimes we hear and sometimes we don't. This game is a chess match. If Mack needs to hide behind injury reporting as a means to an end to control who has access to watching his practices then that is his prerogative. That has absolutely nothing to do with leadership or what other schools do.
This yea,r more than any other in recent memory, the team needs as much detail work in implementing schemes. That means right out of the chute. Open practices don't expose much in the way of scheme anyway. Mack doesn't want any distractions. I'm good with that. You're apparently not. Closed matter.
