Spencer Drango

Watching TCU vs. Baylor on ESPNU and saw Drango standing around, so I looked him up on Baylor's version of MB-TF.com. Apparently he will be their starter at LT this year as a RS freshman.
That'll be interesting. He was a polarizing topic when Westerman decommitted and Searels was turning over rocks looking for replacements. Will be interesting to see the careers of Le'Raven Clark and Drango... vs. the guys that McWhorter recruited (basically a big middle finger to Mack and Texas).

I think McWhorter was high on crystal when he decided to offer Hutchins.

Not really fair to say that when we had a guy decommit and we were scrambling for a replacement that we hadn't recruited based on being full at the position.

Tim Nunez was run off when the ineffectiveness of the running game was blamed on him instead of the guy that designed the scheme, Greg Davis. He was replaced by the "grizzled veteran" MacWhorter.
These are some of the OL recruits under Nunez and MacWhorter:
Tim Nunez: Will Allen, Derrick Dockery, Tony Hills, Casey Studdard, Jonathan Scott, Justin Blalock, Lyle Sendlein (I only went back to 2002 but there were more from 1998 to 2002). Will Allen had to give up his attempt in the NFL because of his knees. The rest are still playing.
MacWhorter: Chris Hall, Steve Moore, Greg Dolan, Adam Ulatoski, Charlie Tanner, Cedric Dockery who was a legacy, Tray Allen, Buck Burnette, Kyle HIx, Brit Mitchel, Michael Huey.
MacWhorter's lines were undisciplined and none were drafted.
