Like it or not, one has to wonder if Alabama's recruiting success could be an indication that its recruitng philosphy works better than Mack's philosphy of making only limited offers and insisting on no-visits after a commmitment.

Alabama's philosophy is that they're the prettiest girl in the room, and recruits can keep looking around because they will be too. Texas seems to want to get it over with and nailed down so they don't have to keep looking.

Gresham committed to Texas 548 days before national signing day for his class, of course he is going to reconsider some things and decisions in 548 day, he's a kid and you give them that much time and who is not going to look around and think about some things. It's general curiosity for recruits at that age to look around at different options and it is part of the game we play now with recruiting in general. Gresham just thinks its funny what you guys are saying about him and it just adds fuel to his fire. Gresham respects Mack's no visit policy and if indeed he were to get serious about a Bama visit, he would take it up with the staff in a proper way. With us just getting on his back and hounding him because he said that he was happy his dream school offered and that he MIGHT take a visit doesn't give us the right to talk trash about the kid and just make it that much worse and harder on him.
