Good write up IMO.

Hard for the Texas ship to go down. Right now, we're taking on water. I'm hopin Mack sees that his time has passed. We'll be fine for several of the reasons listed in the article. Step 1 is a new coach. Nothing happens until that is accomplished IMO.

The only problem is that scipio does project his opinion as fact. I'm sure some of it is but to just blindly accept it all is foolish.

It's a blog, not a media agency that holds people accountable to their sources. He can freely embellish with no repercussion.

I think scipio is a heck of an asset to the fan sites. He presents a unique view and he's a heck of a writer. Just keep it in perspective...

Wonder which sites he's referring to there near the end..? Certainly not IT where they just see what the mob wants and they get more and more of it. Funny thing is, they've been dead wrong on it, whereas Hookem hasn't been making up the story, but reporting it.

I tend to believe articles like these when I can look at the evidence of the two most ambitious guys in our program under Mack both left in under 3 years of getting here. Both of these guys were described as tough, no non-sense coaches who had some fire to them. One left for about as good an opportunity as there is. The other left it seems on the first train he could jump onto to get out of Austin. Now contrast that with Greg Davis and others who stayed in the Texas program until they were forced out. It all starts at the top. It won't change until the persons at the top are gone.

Muschamp took a beating on OB and IT after he left. All kinds of insider info that was meant to make him look bad or not ready for the job.

I think most of this is overblown. But the general premise I believe is correct and fits with the external picture. It's gonna be a rough12 to 24 months while we ride this out. Dodds finally deciding he's done will be the sign the nightmare is over.

Very accurate. All you have to do is look at the QB history & his cronies on the coaching staff. Applewhite or Simms? Let Vince be Vince. He fought it for 2.5 years. Colt had training wheels on his first year. We lose to ohio st at home with Colt his freshman year primarily because of the training wheels. How do we miss on so many homegrown QBs? Three in the top 8 in last years draft. Not to mention Fowles from Westlake. Did we recruit Andy Dalton? No. Is there a pattern here?

All we can hope for is that it "wasn't over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor" .

I find myself despising Mack more and more with each passing day.
