Not unreasonable given the season thus far. The Horns need to finish with a winning conference record and a win against Baylor or Kansas would go a long way.

Completely agree. We need a win against Baylor or Kansas badly.

Seeing N.C. State as one of the last four in is a bit frustrating since that's one of the games the Longhorns should have won.
They're close.
It's going to be one of those things where they're in one week and out the next.
It's certainly going to be an interesting finish.

The fact that Arizona is in is laughable.
Their wins:
Valpo
Duquesne
Ball state
St. John's
New Mexico State
Northern Arizona
Clemson
Oakland
Bryant
Arizona State
USC
Oregon State
Utah
Washington State
Cal
Stanford
They will get in based on name and the fact that the Pac12 is awful.

We better hope Temple, UCLA and Iowa State start winning out.
Defeating Oklahoma State in Stillwater is not a given. Nor is beating Oklahoma twice.
Got to beat K-State at home this weekend. That is where it all starts.

I was just talking about that to the Statesman's beat writer. Texas has already had about 5 must-win games, but Saturday's seems like it's a step above the rest of them. It wouldn't look very goon on Texas' resume to get swept by the fifth-ranked team in a 10-team conference.

Those teams are wretched. Texas will sweep aggy(done), tech, ou, and osu. They just need to win one of ksu, bu, or @ku. Winning Saturday would be huge, and give them the leg up on KSU.
Beat bu and they might sweat some but they should be in.

For all its wretchedness, OSU has already beaten Missouri and Iowa State in Stillwater.
