Think how we all would be feeling if Texas had been the school getting all the news OU has gotten this offseason. We have, on the whole, gotten good news, reasonably good health reports n our guys, no significant off field issues ( ala TCU). Our coaches all seem to be good honorable men, our athletes are on the whole good young folks, and seem to have come to fall camp in shape and ready to work. Not so OU.
I am so thrilled with the direction our team is taking, with the young men our coaches have recruited the last two classes, and what the current class is looking like. Long term looks very promising for the good guys

There is nothing more dangerous in this world than a man with nothing to lose.

As a guy who spent 5 truly wonderful years of my childhood in Oklahoma, has made many trips back to give workshops, or try lawsuits, visit friends or just to eat at my favorite steakhouse, Cattleman 's in OKC, I don't hold quite the animosity to OU that some of the others here do. ( I would root for OU over Aggie or USC, and would honestly give Stoops a Christian burial if something unfortunate were to occur) . But just wanted to say that for a person from the juco of the plains, oka OU, you write decent stuff and it is good to have you here

The Austin Woods being cancer free news triumphs all of the bad news this offseason. While going through treatments, he didn't miss a single workout. Tough ass kid.
