Running game / O-line

    Whether it be Espinosa, Flowers, or Walters at center, do you think with the running backs we have, we will be able to run the ball at will when everybody knows we want to run it? Even on obvious running downs? If so, what center will give us the best chance. Seems like we are getting close to being a team able to grind out the clock and play keep away.

    You're on the right track IMO. If we can get the O-Line cranking, I think we'll be unstoppable with the backs we have and the scheme Harsin uses.

  • Will need some TEs to step up in blocking but I agree Texas is on the right track.

  • I don't think Texas will always be able to run it whenever they want against anybody they want. That's simply too much to ask IMO.

    After all, Wisconsin runs it about as good as you can and they can't run it at will against everyone all the time.

    However, I think the run game this year and next will be as good as it's been since Charles' last year, and it'll be more consistent than that.

    Impressive, considering where the o line play/running game was just two seasons ago
