Who is going to hire him?
Arkansas made the most sense before BU dumped the bed this year. Now they are pretty set on Patterson and Gundy.

No way Briles leaves. They'll match Arkansas in pay. Baylor is building him a Mecca of a stadium and the fan base loves him even with 4-5 win seasons he has job security.
He's going nowhere. .

Recruiting wise it would be a bad move as well. Baylor has good momentum right now and he'd be a fool to leave right now. Arkansas really has nothing to offer him right now.

I don't know if Baylor will be able to match if Arkansas did decide to move on him. I believe I read Arkansas was willing to pay $5 million plus to get their man.

Tenn - not happening
Aub - not happening
Cal - fish out of water. Not sure it's a better job at this point.

I don't think they could sway their BOR to give him that much. He's too much of a risk considering his record at Baylor and lack of big time experience.

Arkansas is where you go to get fired. After Frank Broyles, that's the pattern.
Briles is smarter than that; and has a sweet deal right where he is.

Art Briles has yet to field a decent or average defense since he has been HC. He is staying at Baylor.

Petrino was never in danger of getting fired on the field as a coach. There is a difference. In fact, I would say he did a lot for the guys like Mike Gundy and Gary Patterson looking at/taking the job.

What happens after when not if Kiffen is fired. What if USU comes calling or is that out of the question. I mean for Briles, Gundy, or Patterson for that matter. Does any of these guys listen or do they stay?
