Reuben Foster decommitting from Alabama tomorrow?

  • If he picks Georgia they can't feel good about it until signing day. Foster is apparently at AU all the time now.

  • This is very interesting, reading through that thread was like reading through one of aggy's though

  • If he decommits, the SEC homers on tBB will go nuts. This will be interesting.

And, the real death threats (to trees) will begin.

  • Foster is now an Auburn commit.

At one point it looked like Kirby Smart would be a lock for "recruiter of the year", but the door is wide open for Wyatt or probably one of the USC guys (Orgeron, Tee Martin).

  • Have to love SEC recruiting.

  • he supposedly decked out his 3-year old daughter in Auburn cheerleader's outfit when he made the announcement.

  • Holy crap, his announcement is almost word for word a copy of TJ Yeldon's switch from Auburn to Alabama last year.

they do everything differently in the SEC. Auburn probably guaranteed her a scholarship whens she is old enough.

  • you're a pretty big failure in my book if you have a kid when you're 14. wrap it up idiots.

  • Strong possibility Foster is 18 already and could be 19.

Still, having a kid anywhere from 14-16 is dumb. I wonder how old the mom is.

    WildBill71

  • Quick google search leads me to an Auburn site bitching about his age three months ago and stating that his birthday is April 4, 1993, making him 19.

    Reuben Foster flips to AUBURN!!!!

    So damn funny.

    From the blue board:

    Yeldon's statement

Over the last few weeks, I’ve really put a lot of time and thought into where I want to go to school and continue my football career. I am blessed to be in a situation where I have several great opportunities and I appreciate everyone involved who has helped me get to this point.

I want to make an announcement so I can put this behind me and get to work on the things I need to do to prepare for college both athletically and academically. I am going to enroll at the University of Alabama in January. I have a lot of respect for Auburn, the coaches, and all of the people there, but at the end of the day I feel like the University of Alabama is the best situation and fit for me and my family. I am 100 percent confident with my final decision. I feel great about it and I’m excited to get started.”

    Foster's statement

Over the last few weeks I've really put a lot of thought and time into where I will play football," Foster said at a press conference at his high school. "I want to make an announcement so I can put this behind me and get in all the work I need to do for high school and to get better for college both academically and athletically. I am going to enroll at Auburn University
I have a lot of respect for Alabama and the coaches and all of the other people and fans," Foster said. "At the end of the day, I feel Auburn University is the place for me and my family and I am 100 percent confident in my final decision. I feel great about my decision and I'm excited to get started

    WildBill71

  • And now stud 2014 recruit Bo Scarbrough has put off his commitment (was going to commit to Alabama) and is rumored to be leaning to Auburn. Apparently Foster and Scarbrough are half brothers.

No, you've got to be kidding!

  • I wish I could be witness to the old SEC bidding war that is going on now.

    AllenHorn

  • I bet he loves his daughter with all his heart. He doesn't appear to be a deadbeat dad, even though he's still in high school. Seeing him called idiots and such because of his child seems wrong, imo.

    NavyHorn28

  • Auburn has 3 of the top 10 players (espn 150) commited right now. Really that's like the aggies doing that, it all seems real fishy to me, we all know auburn will buy a church for a top athlete I wonder if that is still going on!!!!!?????

I have no idea why someone downvoted this. It was an idiotic decision, but he's in her life which is huge, as mcwast pointed out so calling him an idiot is unwarranted.

Good catch, btown. This Airman has NavyHorn28's back!

[Off topic: For those military Horns out there, I just recently learned they tore down Steindam Hall a couple of years ago. I had great memories from that building...very sad. Hope the new building is worthy of the name. LT Steindam, God rest your soul, Sir.]

11/24/11: 27-25, 76-37-5, a winning record at Kyle Field, and bragging rights 'til Gabriel blows his horn. Well...bye.
