  • Played golf today with Coda Martin's grandfather. He said he had visited Texas, OU, TT and Arky with is grandson.

    He said Texas, Applewhite and Mack were great and they really enjoyed the visit. Pretty much said the same re the gooners. The sand aggy trip was very nice too.

    What really surprised me was his opinion that Arky was the best visit. He cited the facilities, the interaction with the coaches, the attention to detail and the manner in which the tour of the facilities was conducted by the pig people. He said each player's locker was 4X4 and had a computer screen where the player's schedule, to-do list and any class work assignments were highlighted. This was 2 weeks before Petrino imploded.

    He said Coda had been offered by Ole Miss.

    No one and i mean no one should have facilities as good as Texas.I have seen the photos on Mack Brown Texas football of the players lounge and locker room and they are unbelievable.BUT we should never be outdone by anyone with the amount of $$$$ that is available to the football program.Ok Coach Brown and Deloss lets get in there and beat down everyone just like the USA did to the USSR and win the facilities arms race.
