Yeah, chalk it up to the offseason and a serious starvation for football. Everything will work out for the better in a month or so.

At the very least, make it to practice in early August. I am so glad I am taking my vacation the end of July. Maybe the silly season will be over by then.

I would argue the board is quite bit a more civil than anytime I can remember as a member. I suppose you were't around when topics like Garrett Gilbert, Jerry Gray, Jesus Shuttlesworth, and Blake Gideon were regular sources of many pretty nasty feuds.
It's often highly entertaining, as this board is primarily college educated, and profanity isn't allowed like a typical YouTube debate.

on top of all of this, Mother Nature teased Central Texas all day yesterday. It reminded me of a few dates I have been on. I actually watched the last 15 minutes of the Wimbleton finals.

I think it's the nature of the beast. Yeah, I get that we're all bored in the off season, but it's easy to be civil when everyone's new and are on new relationship behavior. As everyone gets to know each other better, it's a matter of time before personalities clash and bickering starts.

Bobby I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that we havent had anything to get exited about since the second junior day.Its been a lot of bad news and what ifs.I know it's stressed me out and I could use another up vote party like whenA Shawn committed.I know Texas always starts fast and then things slow down.But this year seems different some how.But things will get better soon as football is near and we will all be happy when the Horns kick off.I have a really good feeling about this staff and team.I haven't felt this good about the team since 2009.Not comparing the two but I think they are going to be fun to watch.HOOKEM

No need to apologize. I didn't think anyone was too out of line (if there were any racist posts I thankfully missed those) and made for a fun, interesting weekend.
