I'm going to assume there are some jealous schools out there right now.
in fact, if Texas stopped recruiting right now and didn't take another player in this class most schools still would be envious of the Horns' nine-man haul.

Usually the OU board is so so with our fast start in recruiting. They are fuming about most of the guys we have taken off the board early this year.

Yeah, the Agroid board is saying these recruits are all 3 stars till Texas starts recruiting them and then their rankings shoot up...

Most sights have a little natural bias involved, I believe, but it sure is going to fun watching Aggie get their asses kicked up and down the football field by Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU and the rest of the SEC. Poor Aggie! I'll take what we got these days.

I think there is a certain amount of truth to this statement. However, it doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing at all.
UT finds players that recruiting boards have not yet found. You'd hope this would be the case. Perhaps not at A&M.
When a website board realizes a player they've not seen/heard of is getting major attention from a Big D1 stafff, they take a closer look and evaluate more carefully. Then, often times, they find the D1 Big School coaching staff knew something they didn't, and they add the player to the board, or boost them higher.
Now in A&M's case, they may actually be using these public boards to find players, so there aren't going to be many surprise changes there...

Agreed!!
Watching Davis's film and knowing he just turned 16 is jaw dropping. Very smart and AGGRESSIVE!!! Moves well, recognized plays well and can play both OLB spots at Texas. He just needs to stay flexible and put on some good wt. He will jump very high on some rankings and even if he doesnt he has the ability to be all conference in a few years. Great Prospect!!
