I think the team and the teams attitude is a reflection of the Head Coach. As a former player, I can tell you that I hate OU. I didn't like them when I got to Texas and I flat out despised them by our first game in the Cotton Bowl. Darrel Royal, Fred Akres and David McWillams all made it very clear that OU was our rival and that a loss to them was a ruined season.

Mack has tried to play off OU as one more game each year, no more important then any other. Bob Stoops gets it. He practices, game plans and focuses on Texas 365 days a year. I say this as a compliment, he understands the importance of the rivalry. It permeates throughout his program and the results show up on the field year after year.

I am sick of Mack Browns touchy feely family atmosphere bullshit. I am sick of losing to OU. Seeing OU hang 60+ on Texas for the third time under Mack Brown made me want to punch Mack in the face. Case McCoy can go fuck himself.
