uh, he's been out for 9 weeks and wasn't going to play anyway......

Oh I know. Still, he was a leader on the defense. His actions mean a lot.

There is nothing more dangerous in this world than a man with nothing to lose.

I'm guessing one of the players was Dominic Espinosa because it required a double team.

A Hall of Fame caliber post.

They are definitely guilty of breaking team rules, more of an indication of their level of respect for the head honcho. If they are actually guilty of raping a woman, which I somewhat doubt, then they are guilty of a lore more than a lack of focus.

"lore?" And don't forget Pizza Gate.

Once again, everyone should refrain from passing judgment on these young men until more (albeit in this case any) facts are released... Our legal system is structured the way it is for a reason... As it stands at the moment, the only confirmed facts are that a female who willingly invited two males into her hotel room at or around 2am is making allegations that these same individuals sexually assaulted her... There have been no arrests, so that leads one to believe the only evidence is the the alleged victims statement... Not one of us is immune to accusations

This cant be overstated. Any "evidence" needed to prosecute would have been collected from both the accuser, and the accused. I tend to think if there was any DNA evidence involved, arrests would have been made first, and apologies by the SAPD later. I dont want to be crucified for having the stance I do, and I in no way condone behavior of the two guys in question as anything questionable enough that could cause such acccusations, regardless of truth or accuracy, is obviously unacceptable behavior, as a gentleman or any other kind of man that walks around enjoying his freedom. I hope the accusations are baseless, and the issue is resolved without anymore damage to any party, especially the accuser. Trajic happening no matter what the outcome.

Well said. Much has been stated here with no relationship or ascertained facts from the limited news reported. The few who are logical and sound have differentiated themselves from the idiots who have passed judgment on this board and gone overboard making emotional statements without any knowledge of the facts.

I am not sure this has to do with the allegations, but more to do with two student athletes who break curfew days before the bowl game and put themselves into a position for these allegations to be made. Being found guilty would just be icing on the proverbial cake. And to think, Hicks was the leader early in the season.

    Major issues here.
