Gerry, with Hicks injury history, is a guy like Adam Taylor somebody Texas would consider if they snatched a 2nd back for 2013?

Nope. Texas will look at speed, speed, speed at the RB/slot position in the 2013 class - and already was before the Hicks injury.

Gerry: Did we recruit Armanti Foreman from Texas City? It sure looks like the Sooners have landed another explosive receiver with 204 yards on FIVE receptions.

Yep. Texas was, and is, showing interest in Foreman.
His bother D'Onta is also a guy Texas has/is showing interest in - also a 2014 prospect. 6-0/6-1, 205 OLB long term IMO.

Guyer should make a deep run in the next few weeks. I think it's big for Heard to play well for confidence purposes heading into the off-season.

La Marque 54 --Houston Furr 0 on thursday night.
That is five shououts in the last 6 games. They gave up only 7 points in the entire district schedule.
They are in 3A now and could be headed for state championship number 6.

Don't see mention of it, but Texas commit Derick Roberson led San Antonio Brennan to their 1st ever playoff victory over Boerne Champion last night 42-24.
He had a monster game with a couple of sacks...one of which led to an interception for a touchdown!

Brenham lost last night.
Darrion had like 8 carries for 66 yds a TD. A 16 yd TD pass. He had a great game. He was angry that he wasn't used more on offense. In a tight game like that, you can't guess that he will be tired from running offense and defense. You have to find out.
