Brock Fitzhenry.
Sam Acho just said that Fitzhenry will be the scout team quarterback this week to give the defense the best possible look to get ready for Taylor Martinez and the Nebraska running game.

Will Muschamp said Chris Jones has also played some scout team QB to try and simulate Martinez's quickness and speed.

Chris Jones is the guy to do it. You want to talk about straight line burst and a guy you have to take quality angles against.

He's got the same kind of stop-start ability as Martinez. The thing I think is going to be tough to simulate is Martinez's toughness. Muschamp said this is a week where running your feet on contact and wrapping up will be huge.

Chris Jones was unstoppable at Daingerfield. Can't wait to see him on the field in Austin eventually.

I hear you, but I think is a game where going for kill shots isn't the answer. Whiffing on tackles is the best way to give up chunk yardage plays and Texas can't allow those if they want to have a chance in this one.

totally agree. but this collision is bound to happen (martinez is a straightline guy), and it will not be pretty.

Yeah and not exactly encouraging to hear that a guy on our bench--imitating an early heisman contender, who we play in two days--is making big plays against our D. What is the upside of Mack's comment? a) our D is getting hit up for big plays by our OL and a guy, so get lubed up for Saturday; or b) we've got this athelete that's way better than T-Martinez and you can see him on the bench every week.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
