One and dones are obviously a problem for Texas but the 5 star players who don't play up to their ability also hurts Texas. Thompson was the only one that played like a 5 star player. If Bradley, Joseph and Kabongo had played like 5 star talents then Texas might have advanced further in NCAA tournaments.

I wish he would come back but I'm not really surprised. I know it'd be hard for me to come back if my two best friends were a year older and were already drawing multi-million dollar checks. I'm almost certain that he would make more money long term by spending another year in college but I don't think he ever thought that was a possibility for his career path.

Interesting. I was just looking at mock drafts yesterday and none of the reputable ones had Myck as a 1st rounder in 2012, but quite a few had him as a lottery pick in 2013.
(These same mocks had him as a 1st rounder when this season started.)

I wonder how much of this is pride because of all his buddies being in the league....It seems as though Kabongo may not want to be the one that stayed....interesting dynamics with these Canada/Fnidley Prep kids.
