Rod's take on the "swagger" needed to play quarterback was really good. He starts around the 21:45 mark.
The talk about the development of the younger players on the team is something Texas fans can be really excited about. We start the discussion around the 40-minute mark.
Despite the copious amount coversations on the topic over the years it seems like I learn something new every time Rod talks about the Simms/Applewhite QB controversy. The info around the 12-minute mark was really interesting.
We also had about a five minute discussion comparing Texas to the other in-state schools. There were a couple tidbits of info that haven't really been brought up before. The talk starts around the 29-minute mark.
Our Alamo Bowl preview episode will be posted to the site on Thursday morning. We will break down the tendencies of OSU and what we think the Horns will need to do in order to leave San Antonio with a victory on Saturday. Rod will also address Longhorn in OK's question about breakin g down Manny Diaz's defense from an X's and O's perspective. We had planned to do so in the past couple episodes but with the Major/ Harsin news we had to push it back.
Feel free to shoot us any questions you would like addressed in future episodes. We will also begin to re-connect with a lot of lifetime Longhorns during the offseason so expect a good interviews in the coming months.
