Alabama's wins aren't that much more impressive. You can only play the teams that are on the schedule.

Not saying you're wrong but what's your score prediction if Texas and Alabama meet at a neutral site? The truth is Texas is a lot worse than its record. This is just a severely flawed team from the top down.

I don't see anything up there that approaches a win vs. a team like LSU. Hell, I'm fairly sure that Michigan and Miss St. would probably work us too.
Also, Alabama has one loss and is currently ranked #2 in the country. So yeah, there is that minor detail as well.
Otherwise, definitely continue to throw out absurd comparisons to elite programs that have nothing to do with the point of the thread.

I am not going to get into a discussion of the absurdity of BCS polls but at the same time I didn't say Texas was a better team. They aren't. Just that the record of the teams they have played is similar. Bama has played 2 teams with winning records in conference and lost to one of them and outside of stupidity on the part of the opposing coach would have lost the other one before pulling it out of their ass. Texas whitewashed the two teams only common opponent.
