Ole Miss 16
Close 1st half and texas pulls away in the second half led by the defense shutting down the ole miss O completely
Close in the first qtr... we pull ahead in the second half
34-21 horns. With reservations - uncomfortable with any team that appears to
have a delay switch on overall quality play
D looks like it is playing for kill shots resulting in overruns & missed tackles
Is a deep ball supposed to be that hard for
a quality D1 QB ? ( otherwised impressed with Ash ; makes the easy plays look easy this year & sets up the run after catch on short throws very well )
Those 2 items get settled , gap could widen
More of the same , we have a good chance of losing
Editors note - wife went to Ole Miss. Been there a bunch
Helpful hint- Lafayette County does not sell
cold beer at their stores . Bring a cooler of ice !
Ole miss 9
If we dont blow them out I think it is a cause for concern. I am not saying we have to blow them out as bad as the score I have above, but just because they play in a conference with a lot of recent success doesn't make them a good team. I guess they are good compared to the teams we have been playing, but still not good. Its time to play like the football powerhouse that Texas is. Hook'em
17 - 7 UT
First two games were situational scrimmages, JJ puts Wallace on the turf a lot. We got two big PA passes. We roll 48-16. Time to lock and load.
Too many mismatches for Ole Miss to stay with us for 4 quarters...42-10 Texas
Old Miss 13
It could be greater if the former Penn State guy can kick some field goals. For what ever reason I see us missing some field goals in this one on the road in SEC country. By the way, where are the refs from?
275-0 scoring margin
