CBS Sports Mock Draft...Wort listed as the 13th best ILB for the 2014 draft...no clue where this puts him for the 2013 draft

Has Mike Stoops EVER been succesful without Venables? Venables was responsible for most of the success of the OU LB's over the years... reality is setting in.

If you ask me. Yes, it is absolutely sarcasm.

However, if you ask most Okie fans it's legit information... unless they actually knew that their only ILB commit dropped them for Aggy, and they only return 3 LB's next year with significant experience... and that Wort was their leading LB in almost every statistical category this year...

Although I will say OU's defensive scheme was pretty bad against some of the spread teams. They gave up a lot of pts the last 4-5 games of the year and were lucky to not lose a couple of those games.

Obviously, they killed our offense somehow.

Other than the seconday, OU's talent this past year on defense, was no where near the levels of some of their stellar teams.

Our LBs have been poor for a few years now and guess who recruited the LBs on roster now? BV recruited every LB on roster so someone has to be blamed for the lack of talent on the defensive side of the ball.

Fact is Wort was beaten out midway through the season by a younger player.

You had all three LB's (including Wort) on the All-Big 12 team last year!? Let me say it again... last year all 3 OU LB's made the All-Big 12 team. One was drafted into the NFL! But yea... they sucked.

And the actual "fact is" Wort was the starter in every game of the year besides one... and, he was your best LB on the team.

Sounds like Wort just lost his scholarship.
