It's not a UT/ATM thing with Perry. It's a he's taken money from people who want to turn both schools in to a diploma mills thing. He's been screwing with ATM arguably more than he has with UT.
Agree 100%. Working in higher education circles, lots of folks at many a public institutions gripe about the Governor. Concerns over the amount of influence being exerted by the Gov. on institutions of higher education by his BOR appointments are not limited to Texas. A&M, Tech, and other public institutions have (or have had) similar concerns, just not as high profile as Texas. So, the sense that the Governor is "out to get Texas and/or Powers" is not totally accurate.
