I read somewhere in the midst of the new Nike release that NFL teams can only change scheme every five years, so some will not change at all.
I believe more specifically they can only change their logo once every five years. Detroit changed theirs in 2009 so there won't be any changes. I don't think it has anything to do with the actual color scheme on the jersey.

basically these are pro combats that colleges have worn the last couple of years. Much tighter fitting and lightweight. Even the pant stripes are graphics instead of sewn on piping just like the college unis.
Interesting that the photos show a player wearing all the pads: knee, hip, back, thigh, etc. Most players ditch the pads in order to reduce weight and be more flexible, even if it raises injury risk.
