Your statement is fallacious. God hates all sin. And a Holy, Sovereign, and perfect God can not tolerate it. Homosexuality, like all sins, is chosen. No one has to chose to sin.
Actually Jesus said marriage is between a man and woman. And sex outside of that is unacceptable.
Your, and as well many other people's of a "love only", "soft" Jesus, is entirely not all who the Lord our God was and is.
But that is the imagination of the lost.

Wrapping your bigotry in a few outlier verses that you believe prove Jesus hates gays doesn't make it correct.

You need to watch Pollyanna, bro, so you can be reminded that the bible has more happy verses than angry ones.

Anyway, I'm hitting the sack, no use arguing with you as I'm "lost"

I think what he is trying to say is that we were created by a Just and Righteous God who loves us enough to let us choose what we want. Sometimes what we want isn't what's necessarily right but we've still been given the choice. The Bible wasn't written to be some magical book that makes everything perfect. It was written to be God's instructions to us about Life and how we should live it.
When we sin, we choose to throw that beautiful Grace right back into God's face. Each and everyone one of us, no one more than anyone else, sins, no one, apart from Jesus, is perfect. We don't have to sin, but we still choose to nonetheless.
Jesus loves everyone but, as I previously mentioned, He doesn't love everything we do. Homosexuality falls under that category in that almost every single time, it falls under the category of sex outside the confines of marriage and since the Bible is very clear that marriage is between a man and a wife and therefore homosexuality is associated with adultery in most cases.

The bottom line is that the Bible is very clear in that we are to love everyone as a Creation of the Father but that doesn't means we have to support their choices or their lifestyle, but just that we are to love them as God loves us and sometimes that falls under rebuking ideas that are against God's Word.

One more comment and then I really am going to bed, I agree in general with your statement on Sin and choice, but I don't agree that it was what Bruce 7 meant. Your statement was much more tolerant and an actual interpretation that didn't condemn an entire group of people. I don't believe that homosexuality is a choice. I think people are born that way, but that is a different topic. Bruce 7 took an intolerant stance and was very judgmental of those who didn't agree with his stance. He called those that didn't agree with him, me mainly, a bad Christian - he basically said I wasn't a "good" Christian. At the end of the day, I don't think this topic belongs on this board and I don't appreciate being judged on this board.
