Cleveland is run by idiots. They gave up an insane amount of picks to move up 1 frickin' spot in the draft - utterly foolish. They should have told Minnesota that they would draft Kalil if Minnesota traded #3 to a team that wanted Richardson. Some teams are just too easy to manipulate. Instead of drafting more weapons for their QB, they instead draft a potential QB replacement with a 1st round pick. The best Colt can hope for is that he gets traded now that Weeden has been drafted. Senneca Wallace can start while Weeden is being groomed.

Don't agree with the assessment that they're idiots for the trade, they didn't give up premium picks, and they had 13 total picks in the draft, probably too many. It was obvious that both TB and STL wanted Richardson and both teams traded down once they realized they weren't going to get him. Minnesota could have gone with Claiborne, Cleveland had no leverage in the situation.
Agree that they're idiots for drafting Weeden though.

If they don't think Colt is the guy why not draft his replacement? Obviously your argument about getting the guy weapons makes sense - if they think he is the guy - but obviously they don't, so they need to go try to find the guy.

Agree with the second part, the problem is age and lack of mobility. If you want to draft a statuesque qb, take the one with upside in Osweiler in the mid to late 2nd. Use the 1st rounder for best player available and improve the worst roster in the league.
