This is great news, but the deadline isn't here yet. Sorry to point that out. I do think, however, that this is a final decision for the year, unlike Thompson's immediate response after the loss to Arizona. Kabongo has had 9 days to consider his option and has seen projections of his draft status. With the 2012 recruiting class not having many pg in the top 25, I think he's making the right choice, provided he works hard at improving his game in which case win-win for Kabongo and Texas and bad news for the rest of the conference.
For the record I will staying another year as well.
Even if it means pissin' you off a little bit to get you to work, I'm not gonna' let you down.
