was watching a guy on the weather channel out in Connecticut. Looks like they are getting pounded. Can't imagine what it's like in Delaware and Jersey.

As Gerry mentioned, water is going over the battery in NYC and parts of Manhattan are now flooding as the surge is over 13 feet with high tide. A lot of damage reports already coming in to news outlets with numerous transformers blowing and parts of buildings damaged.

They said on the weather channel four million customers without electricity. Living on the gulf coast I have a whole house generator. Came in handy during Rita and Ike. Not sure how many folks have those up there. They said it could take some time to get electricity back on.
