I'm watching Mack's presser on LHN and will be blogging it. Jeff will follow up with the print side of things, as he'll be there in person covering that one.

Thought the kids played really hard in Lubbock and it was the best Tech team they've faced since Leach's 08 team. The seniors are now 4-0 against Texas Tech and Texas has won 9 out of the last 10 against the Red Raiders
Since 1999, Texas has 72 road victories, which is tied for first in BCS programs.
Need to improve:
- Kickoff coverage. Rose kicked well, but when they returned them the coverage wasn't the best.
- Punt coverage. King is doing great punting, coverage not so much.
- Better job blocking the punt and not roughing the punter.
Special team players of week:
Carrington Byndom and Nick Rose
No turnovers on offense. Turned ball over only 8 times this year, which is the 7th fewest in America. Turnover Margin is +6 for the year.
Gray has had back to back 100+ yard games.
Mike Davis ranks first in the Big 12 in yards per catch.
Texas is one of the best in country for 3rd down efficiency this year, but need to improve after this week.
Run defense was much better. Most of their runs were for 2 yards or less. Huge improvement for the Horns. Tech only had one explosive run.
They also had no passes for over 25 yards. They held Doege to just one touchdown pass and a 54% completion rate. Tech had 5 trips to redzone, only scored two touchdowns.
Gave up two fourth down conversions, one on a reverse and one on a key throw. Have to make those stops. Been a problem all year.
The Horns didn't force a turnover this game. Mack says its hard to win games without that.
Alex Okafor tied for first in Big 12 for sacks.
Four games left, sitting in same place as last year and they have to finish it out right.
Colt McCoy, Phil Dawson, a Navy Lt. and an Air Force Lt. are the honorary captains. There will be a 4-plane flyover before the game.
Mack wants the fans to come out like they did for WVU and BU. "The crowd makes a difference."
Only have to go back two years to see ISU's upset victory, 28-21, in Austin. The players remember it. They (Texas) know what they're capable of now, so the players are aware it can happen and how good ISU is.
They've beaten Iowa, close loss to Tech, beat TCU, played KSU better than anyone else 27-21, and they beat Baylor. Mack said they obviously played OU much better than Texas did.
He expects a big, physical ball game.
Continue to talk about being a tough physical team and they have to due that this week against ISU.
Mack says they played their best game as a team against Tech. Defense stepped up and made key stops. Offense did well. Mack was most disappointed with special teams.
Told players to not worry about how bad they were at KU or how good they were against Tech. Just go out there, be focused and play.
Mack said Texas "totally stunk" in Dallas.
Ash's pass efficiency at Tech: 226.7.
Total yards: 264
Total TD: 3

Mack says they have to get a win this week then have a week off to regroup and get ready to finish out the year.
He thinks Texas is doing a much better job stopping the run. Huge difference lately. A lot of that is due to Steve Edmond being better and adjusting and the defensive line too.
The verdict is still out on LB Kendall Thompson. They're not sure if he'll be available this week or not.
Texas held Tech to 441 yards total. 112 rushing, 329 passing.
Mack will tell the players to keep their opinions to themselves on election day. He doesn't want them tweeting or facebooking about politics.
Texas has to watch out for ISU QB Steel Jantz, who can tuck it and run very easily.
