Mods., recruiting the DL

  • Thomas is the best DL in the state, imo. He's looks like a classic 5-tech guy that could spin down to DT. This makes him the most important guy on the board. Roberson, by November, might be the best DE in the state. My question is.... Why isn't Texas going national for DT's? Esp., with Thomas not verbally committed yet.

  • National or Juco year IMO. I don't think anything in state is worth it at this point. The top two have committed elsewhere and I think that should sit just fine. Direct efforts elsewhere

    I think Thomas is a piece of the puzzle.

    I still don't think Washington is the eventual answer for anyone at DT. The Henderson kid at Longview is a different story. He's the only DT in the state where I felt like he's likely a future NFL guy.

    If I'm Texas, I'd really look at the kid at San Antonio Warren as a nose tackle. He's the kind of guy who occupies blocks. And he hustles every single play. I know he doesn't fit their exact style right now, but he could be a terrific nose tackle and you'd rather play with him than with someone who's just another guy.

  • Is A$M really leading for Alaka now. I can't believe we didn't can Diaz. His defense better shine this year so we can get back I with some of these kids.
