I feel like I don't even want to read this article as I feel like drawing this comparison, though inevitable, is simply unfair to Swoopes. Sure, he's tall, athletic and African American AND he's a freakin' teenage kid.

They've recently started doing videos for us on various recruiting topics. Not a bad feature IMO, although I can see why you guys aren't fans of the title they used for their Swoopes spotlight.

I've said it all along - the comparisons to Vince Young are idiotic and have no place in the discussion with Swoopes. He kind of runs like him. That's it. Oh, and they're both tall and black and they play QB.

And there's the reason.
I don't see Vince (outside of race, and making people look silly) when I watch his videos. It's not only an unfair comparison for Swoopes, but shows a lack of knowledge by those trying to make the comparison.

The idiotic grownups writing this sort of headlines need to get a life. The kid needs to be allowed to find his own level without creating undue and unneccessary exploitative journalism for the sake only of attention at his expense.

Bunch of drama queens on here. Swoopes models himself after VY and strives to be the next VY even to the point of working the zone read trying to perfect it. If he doesn't have a problem then neither should you. He's idolized the guy for years.
