The Texas A&M Aggies really want the members of their new league to like them, especially Florida coach Will Muschamp.
While speaking to the Polk Count Gator Club last month, Muschamp didn't exactly endorse tourism in College Station, Texas.
"You ever been to College Station?" Muschamp asked the crowd. "It'll be the only time you go."
While Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin fired back by saying Muschamp needs to concentrate on his own team, College Station Mayor Nancy Berry took a more lighthearted approach.
She posted a video on YouTube talking about Muschamp's comments and then inserting different shots of Muschamp into various places in College Station. One even depicts him as an A&M Yell Leader. Then she offers to send Muschamp a gift basket to make sure the two can be friends as the Aggies head into their first year in the SEC.
This is one of those stories that will not die.
Muschamp made an innocent comment and now Texas A&M can't move on. Move on, Texas A&M, move on.

Muschamp makes one tiny ass joke about aTm and someone gets her depends in a twist enough to create a video. we realize you are bitter about basically being shoved out of the Big 12 and whored out by the SEC and Slive. stop with the drama though.
a pitiful attempt for recognition in an SEC that i disagree, doesn't view you as dirt, but rather a nothingness. money from a tv market comprised primarily of Texas fans who will watch laughing as you get beaten weekly like a red-headed freckled stepchild.
but, stop trying to start fights for attention. the members of the SEC simply don't care. you'll have the National spotlight soon enough. think of being the worst contestant on Fear Factor with absolutely no shot to win but still trying. about as much as that old bat in that video trying. beyond lame.
