Unfortunately, he has more in common with Longhorn "fans" in that regard.
It's amazing the amount of crap Gideon gets when he wasn't even among the worst 2 or 3 safety starters that Mack Brown has had. Every one of the guys the started in 2007 alone was worse than Gideon. A combination of missed evaluations and bad attrition kept him on the field.

That is incorrect. I would take Marcus Griffin all day long over Gideon. All day, every day. Gideon rivals Bobino as the worst 4 year starter the MB era on defense.

Sure he will. He may not stick, but he'll get invited to someone's camp if for no other reason than he was a 4-year starter at Texas. Matt Davis isn't going to do squat while on campus in College Station.
