27' wind-legal. Bad day apart from Goodwin. Our men's 400 relay dropped the stick and our women's ran a slow time, 44.61, and didn't advance. Danielle Dowie was the only woman entry to advance, and she had the slowest qualifying time. Kendra Chambers ran a PR, 2:03 and still failed to qualify. Ryand Crouser had a PR in the discus,196', and got 4th. Murphy and Olson are 5th and 12th after the first day and performed pretty well except for the 100. The east region sprinters are blowing away those from our western regional. Prezel Hardy ran 10.11 and failed to qualify, and neither Aggie woman 100m entry advanced either.
Congrats to Marquise Goodwin. That would have medaled in the 2008 Olympics.
Congrats to Marquise, now get ready for Olympic trails
Congrats to Marquise!!!
It might have been a rough day for the women but I don't think you can count the men's team as a disappointment thus far. Murphy will get some points and Olsen has a shot. And even though the 4x1 dropped the baton they likely weren't going to score anyway with today's times.
Marquise de Jumper. Awesome, baby. Hook 'em!
National champions deserve to be pinned.
Congrats to Marquise.
