2008 was never advertised as being a great class. #15 or something like that per Rivals. 2007 was a solid class. I think we've had 11 guys from that group have started for us already. The problem is that seven of those have used up their eligibility. . What it didn't have was a skill position who became a star in college. Chiles was a bust. At this point, 2009 is the class that looks like it going to be the bust relative to hype. Whaley, Timmons, Porter, Okafor, Howell, Gilbert etc. These were top 100 guys. Except for Walters, none of the top kids in that group have come close to their rankings. Hopefully under better coaching they can live up to their hype. We'll have to wait and see.
