Truth is you can not stop him. Muschamp is the perfect example. If a school like Florida comes there is nothing you can do about it, but thank him for his time and wish him luck. MOney will not keep him from taking a top 15 job. You just hope that he realizes that he does not have to take a middling BCS job.

I'm just wondering if the few schools that might entice him might not put Kirby Smart ahead of Manny on their wish list. Manny has it all except for a few national title rings, and you can bet Mr. Smart will be toting those in to any interview he deigns to attend.

Perhaps so, but there's no problem with exporting your system to other schools if it's superior a la Boise State. There's no doubt that Saban is hands on with the secondary, but is he actually calling plays or making suggestions based on down distance and situation?

I have no idea but you would think Kirby would have been offered the Tennessee job and some others based on his resume. I guess it goes back to Saban being a control freak. I wondered how much of the offense that Major coached there was his.
