Mack said that both Sally Brown and DeLoss Dodds told Edith Royal that the team would be honoring her late husband by lining up in the wishbone of the first play from scrimmage.
Her response, per Mack:
"Yeah," she said. "I never knew much about that wishbone."
Edith Royal left the stadium before the game ended, but DeLoss and Bill Powers are going to her house this evening to present her with the game ball from today's game.
