Kevin Durant sorry for cursing on court, grandma

Kevin Durant continues to charm the socks off the NBA world. The Oklahoma City Thunder forward is the favorite for NBA MVP. He does things like drop 41 points on a helpless team like the Phoenix Suns. He wins

  • To this day, still my favorite player/prospect I have covered. Dude is an all-time great, and pleasure to deal with.

This is one of those sports "role models" IMO.

This x1000. Everything you want in a person and a player. David Robinson comes to mind as does Lionel Messi. Few and far between.

I was going to say David Robinson. To think how he got through all those shady recruiters coming out of high school and has stayed the same fun loving person. He is my role model.

Any questions about the relationship between his public persona and real life should have been answered when Russ Springman named his son "Durant".

  • Per Steve Kerr, he has taken that next step from just a great player to the player other team's players and coaches fear. Don't piss him off. Don't say something you shouldn't.

This is a great time to be an NBA fan. We saw LeBron take that step last year in the playoffs and KD has taken it now too.

I have been a KD fan as soon as the stepped on campus and I really enjoyed that year because I knew if would only be one. I have loved watching him get better and better and yet he still remains humble. I never compare him to Lebron because off the court he is a MUCH better person than Lebron on the court they are different players but I have always believed KD could be better if he would just play better defense and he has starting doing that. All he needs is a championship and then IMO he will be better than Lebron

  • How exactly is he a MUCH better person off the court? What has Lebron done that would be considered something to not be modeled after?
