Just trying to be optimistic here...but the selection committee does look at how a team finishes up a year, so if we can just hang in there and win our share it is possible that Texas will look promising the last half of the conf. schedule and get picked for the tourney.
I feel better about the year now than I did two days ago.

Yep last 10, which is where Texas will be with the 8 regular season games, and hopefully a couple of Big 12 tournament games. Those 8 games will include 5 against teams that will be vying for the NCAA tournament in ISU, KU, KSU, OSU, and BU.

MK put himself in a position to be publicly embarrassed & face a suspension from the NCAA
The Texas compliance office did not provide adequate representation for MK, did not notify Rick Barnes or any other basketball team reps prior to their conversations with MK, and did not help either the player or university during this process
MK made a mistake & received the relevant consequences...will the Texas compliance office face their own consequences for failing MK & the university? I think we all know the answer to that...the Texas compliance officials involved in this matter should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves
Just another example of the complete disaster otherwise known as The University of Texas Athletic Department
