I've never been someone to think that way. You can dwell on the past all you want or you can simply look at what's in front of you. I know nobody gave Baylor a shot tonight and look what happen. Hopefully our guys go in to that game with a different mindset than yours. Tonight is a prime example of teams just going out and playing rather than listening to all the outside chatter and "noise" that attempts to predict games before they are even played. It happens every week, but that's what makes college football so exciting to me. Every game still matters and we've got a big one against TCU and another after that. We could easily lose both if we come out like Kstate did tonight, but we could certainly win both. The "past" as you suggest will have nothing to do with that either way. Just go play!

OU got torn to pieces tonight (788 yards given up on D). A good chunk of that was in the run game (Austin), but one thing is for sure, Gundy is going to work that OU D over based on what OU has shown against Baylor and now WVU in the run game. I think OSU is actually more balanced than WVU right now and that makes them even more dangerous. They definitely have a better defense than WVU, so on paper, I think OSU looks good in that game, however you never know when your on the road and in a rivalry game. Stoops will have his team ready, but I think Gundy will too. Based on what I've seen between both lately, I like OSU in this one.

As an older poster I have heard all the ND mush before. It has already started with Lou Holtz saying they are the best team before KSU and Oregon got beat. They most likely will be the team of the century by Tuesday.
