Agreed. If I'm Barnes I'd much rather have him back for the Big 12 tournament than any game in the regular season. I'd let that hand heal fully before I put him back in action.
I'm with you. It will be interesting to see if the team can jell and hit their stride before the Big 12 Tournament.
Everybody who's been asked that question over the last week or two doesn't think it will take that long.
He's been practicing with the team all year. While he's spent the majority of his time on the "scout" team, he's still had a lot of time to run the offense with the front line. It will probably take a couple games, but I think 8 is plenty.
