  • Nobody can deny what Mack has done for the program. We didn't own Texas recruiting before Mack. Because of that, I have a hard time calling for the man's head out of respect. I'll always love Mack, I just hope he steps down when the time is right so I don't have to change my opinion

But the guy is coming back next year. Period. I think he's going to try to ride Major and Wyatt and some defensive talent (Brown, Jinkens, Diggs, etc.) next year...I see a return to the spread and using our speed and allowing our superior athletes to win football games...and it may work.     you're not even close to being the most critical. most predicted 9-10 wins preseason w/ losses to West Virginia, OU, @Manhatten, Kansas, and one slip-up against OK ST, Tech, TCU, Mississippi, or the Cotton, Alamo, or Holiday Bowl.

    9 wins w/out Jeffcoat, Hicks, and Malcolm Brown for most of the season, a new OL under Searls, which was terrible, and "the best defensive backfield in the country(15 picks in 13 games)," being average, a complete hole at DT, your FS leading the team in tackles(never good), and your best offensive player is a true freshman? i'm surprised we won 9.

    getting blown out by OU and KSU sucked. we would have lost to aTm this year. f' them. they can have fun being middle of the pack SEC and have fun in their bowl game in a few days w/ you know who.

    all things considered, i didn't like the season. ready for Mack to go? hell freakin' NO.
