If Johnathon Gray goes elsewhere...

Who are the other backs in 2012 we will go after? It looks like its going to be a battle for his signature. Also, I know its supposed to be a small class. Is it Gray or bust?

With the state of their program, I think lock would be a bit extreme. They will certainly be in the discussion to the end, but I think we've got a much more compelling atmosphere to offer. I would imagine that Barry Sr. would be a big fan of the type of program we've got, especially as compared to the mess Gundy has.
Let's also not underestimate the fact that Sanders Jr. won't be associated with any type of handler. OSU will have to win his signature straight up. I like Mack's chances in any fair fight.

I said on a thread somewhere yesterday that there was another RB that is very good that hasn't been mentioned or talked about much. Well, I'll go ahead with it.
Terrence Taylor out of Diboll has a lot of talent and Texas is showing interest.He is 5-10.5, 185-190 and can go.
I'll be making a stop at Diboll in the near future.
The next group is Terrence Taylor (Diboll), Trent Jackson (Cuero) and Ladarius Anthony (Kilgore).

Two things to keep in mind re: Sanders
1. He doesn't list OU in his top 5. That is excellent news for the Horns.
2. I think its very likely that Gundy gets fired after this year. That type of turmoil will make it a lot easier for him to look elsewhere without as much typical backlash.
I think Texas has a legit shot.

Of course Sanders doesn't list OU in the top 5. They're probably not even in the top 100. His dad played for OSU, and he has no love for the Sooners.

I saw an interview with him where he mentioned Texas as one of the schools he was interested in. I don't like to just be any kid's top 5, but that's about the best we can expect at this stage with OOS kids.
I will say that Sanders Jr. seems mature beyond his years (much like his father), and fits the mold of the "Mack Brown kid".

Jeffcoat may be worth the scholarship if he does nothing more than put a face to the program and talk to recruits when they visit.
