I hope not. There are plenty of talented kids that come to JD2 every year that grew up UT fans & would commit if they got an offer. So what's the point of offering a less talented recruit just because he bleeds burnt orange?
P.S. When you say "Mack type offer", I'm assuming you mean Alex DLT or Chef Moss type offer.
If he's a late bloomer like Marcus Johnson or Adrian Colbert, I'm okay with offering him.

I don't think he bleeds burnt orange. Yes, his brother goes to UT, but he's not a legacy. I think he has the ability to grow tremendously in height and build, strictly because of his genes. That's why I think that he would become a great TE, especially after a redshirt year...

If he's willing to come as a walk-on, that's cool. He shouldn't be taking a possible spot from Vonn Bell, Cole Luke, etc.
