I can't believe I forgot to comment on Smith-Rivera, who has been playing very well for Georgetown. I guess I forgot to add him since he was out of the running some time back, IIRC.
There was some debate about whether he could be a point or would be an SG in college. He's showing SG all the way and doing great at it. Leading scorer, hitting .643 from the field, .714 from deep, .778 from the line, and not turning the ball over too frequently.
Georgetown has yet to see a marquee opponent, but it doesn't have to wait long. UCLA with Shabazz Muhammad in New York on Monday.
Smith-Rivera and Smart combine to make for a strong showing for the group of 5.
