not the 18-year-old trying to staightrn up his grades.

If you really believe this guy is trying to straighten up his grades you're as REDACTED as the trash you write.

They're having to hold his hand because he lacks the motivation to do jack for himself.

I know football is king in Texas, not trying to debate that. But, I was under the impression that this was UT, where everything is the best, and championships were the goal for every sport. Heck, we pay our coaches enough to win big in every sport. Our resources suggest that championships are the goal for every sport.

Well, if we didn't take Bond and Gibbs we would had seven freakin' players on the roster. Bond and Gibbs signed late. Your and the fanbases' frustration should be on Barnes and his recruiting style. Seven players--Kevin Durant is not walking through that door, anymore.

The real question is why didn't we take Pressey. Because we didn't want to scare away Joseph or Kabongo. Barnes determined that Joseph and Kabongo of 1 year each was better than having Pressey for four years. You could also make the case with Gibson, although I don't think the recruiting of Gibson would have scared away any future bigs, so I wouldn't mind having him as the 8th player on the team.

Pressey would be pretty damn good for four years. It will be interesting to follow Gibson's career.

I'm not frustrated at all, I say what I see. I worked full time 35 to 40 hrs a week during semester and 50+ in summer to put myself through school at UT at the age of 17 to 22.

    . . .

and it was always snowing or 100' outside
