How Texas can win the Big 12

With K-State losing to Baylor, I went and read the tiebreaker rules for the Big 12. Here is what Texas needs to win the Big 12.
1. Baylor holds on to beat K St
2. Ok. St beats OU
3. Texas runs the table
If this happens there would be a 4 way tie between ou, kstate, Texas, and osu. Texas and K St would be 2-1 against the other 3 thus dropping ou and osu. Texas would have beat K St head to head and won the tiebreaker.
Granted this is an enormous long shot, but with Baylor beating K St for the moment it gives you something to root for.

What if KS loses, VT beats Ok, then OU beats OSU. And we beat KS........hmmm, lost myself!

Nope. Texas would win that one as well.
Texas, KSU, and OU would all be 7-2. Then 1st elimination would be the record against the 4th place team. Texas and KSU would have wins over OSU while ou would not eliminating them. Texas would have the head to head over KSU.
Really if BU and WVU win tonight, Texas controls their own destiny.

How ironic would it be if Mack won the conference in a year we want him fired because of his lack of doing this very thing, along with others (like getting raped by OU)? That would be a sick joke.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if we win out K state and OU lose tonight ( both are currently losing) wouldn't we win outright, us and K state would be 10-2 and we would hold the head to head win.

Yes osu would have to win against Ou assuming we win out. If we win out and Ou beats osu they are the champions.

I believe that is correct. If OU beats OSU and we beat K-State, OU only has 1 in conference loss and everyone else would have 2. If OU loses to OSU and we beat K-State and TCU, I believe we win it in the 4 way tie breaker. K-State still controls their own destiny. If they beat us, it's moot. They own the tie breaker over OU.

After tonight, if Texas wins out and ou loses to either OSU or TCU, Texas will represent the Big 12 in the BCS.
If OSU beats ou and BU then Texas would win the 4 way tie-breaker. All 4 teams would be 7-2.
Texas would be 2-1
KSU would be 2-1
OU would 1-2
OSU would be 1-2
Thusly ou and osu would be eliminated so then it would be Texas vs. KSU with Texas owning the head to head.
If OSU beats ou but loses to BU then it would 3 teams tied at 7-2, with all 3 being 1-1 against each other.
The next tiebreaker would be record against the 4th best team, OSU.
OU would be eliminated as Texas and KSU have beaten OSU. Texas would advance with the head to head.
If ou beats OSU but loses to TCU, then it would 3 teams with 7-2, 1-1 against each other, and all three with wins over OSU. It would then go to BCS standings. Texas would be the highest rated of the three so they would advance.

It's Conference losses that count. Overall record cam come into play in the tie breaker process, but there would be 4 teams with 2 conference loses. We would win the tie breaker in this scenario.

So the most likely scenario is Texas to the Alamo bowl right? If we beat TCU and KSU we go Cotton (vs aggy) right?

10-2 Texas would be picked over any 2 loss team eligible for the BCS unless they are in the Top 4, which is unlikely.
