As a leader of the defense you don't wanna hear him Say "I" to much unless he takes responsibility for lack of production on defense.

Agree. I think Manny may be starting to lose his players' trust. If the D "loses it's spirit", then we are in even worse trouble. A lot of frustration starting to boil over.

That comment might be more insightful to the defense than I would care to admit. Shows a shocking lack of leadership from what is supposed to be a leader on this team. This is a defense that is talented, but does not seem to be on the same page. Now you have a leader saying we lost, but I did everything I could.

I agree that there are scheme issues, but the bigger problem to me is the lack of personal accountability on the defense. On one hand you have Ash loading it all on his shoulders. On the other, you have KV who isn't even playing that great imo, passing it off.
Pretty obvious to me at this point that alot of our defensive players(Byndom, Phillips) spent too much time reading about how good they are instead of working to get better.

I've been around Kenny on several occasions and he is a punk through and through. Good football player though.

Which is part of the problem.....
