After two weeks off, I was a little rusty and didn't have it, but that's not an excuse for what happened tonight."

Stilly was all over the plate last night and sometimes looked to be overthrowing, so he is correct there about not throwing strikes.
Texas was very patient in their hitting approach and did not try and hit lower pitches in the zone.
I think texas and A&M are about dead even in terms of team play, so I don't think he is correct if he believes A&m is significantly better.
That error at 3rd for A&M decided the game, while that play at 3rd for texas kept A&m from getting a leadoff double late in the game, great play.
Juengman (sp) put on a clinic in those last couple of innings, very impressive to see, pitching was definitely better for texas last night.
They deserved to win.
